Privacy Policy

Version privacy-draft-2026-09-30

1. Who we are

[Legal entity name to be set] runs Pursuit and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: [Support email to be set].

2. What we collect

Your account: your name, your email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).

Your firm's information: what you enter in the service, such as your NAICS codes, set-asides, capabilities, scoring settings, partners, outreach, notes and documents.

How you use the service: pages and actions, and technical details such as your browser type and network address, kept in server logs to run and secure the service.

Billing: your free trial does not require a payment card. [To confirm: what we collect once subscribing is available, and how, once that is built.]

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, to sign you in and confirm your email address, to send the emails the service needs (confirmation, password reset, invitations and billing notices), to answer your questions, and to understand and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.

4. AI features

If you connect an AI model, the text you ask it to work on, and the notice or workspace details needed for that request, are sent to the provider you chose, using your own key and under your own account with them. Your key is stored encrypted. If you do not connect a model, nothing is sent.

5. Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the service: Cloudflare (network delivery and bot protection on sign-up), Resend (sending email) and our hosting provider. If you connect an AI model or another tool, that provider also receives what you send it. [To confirm: add Stripe once subscribing is built.]

[To confirm: the final list of providers, including error tracking if it is turned on, and where each stores data.]

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Keeping it separate and safe

Each workspace is kept separate from every other workspace in our database, and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your workspace we remove its data from the live service. Backups are kept for a limited period and then expire. [To confirm: the backup retention period and any records we must keep.]

8. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information by writing to [Support email to be set]. [To confirm: the rights and process that apply in each place we serve, with counsel.]

9. Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed at children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will give notice of a material change, and the version in force is shown at the top of this page.
