Terms of Service

Version terms-draft-2026-09-30

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and [Legal entity name to be set] ("we", "us"). They cover your use of Pursuit, the website and the services we provide through it.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

Pursuit helps a firm find public government procurement notices, score them against the firm's own settings, and track what it decides to pursue. It can also help draft text, using an AI model that you connect with your own key.

Notices come from public sources and from a curated feed. We work to keep them current and complete, but we do not promise that every notice is present, correct or up to date. Always check the official notice before you act on it.

Scores, summaries and drafts are aids to your own judgment. They are not legal, contracting, accounting or compliance advice, and nothing in the service is a guarantee that you will win, or be eligible for, any contract.

3. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The person who creates a workspace is its owner. An owner can invite teammates and is responsible for the people they invite. Each person uses their own login.

4. Free trial, price and renewal

Your workspace starts with a 15-day free trial. No payment card is required to start it.

After the 15th day, if you have not subscribed, your workspace is not locked or deleted: the dashboard shows your best-scoring opportunities only, and scores are not refreshed until you subscribe. Everything you have already entered, your settings, your team and your saved projects, stays exactly as usable as it was.

[To confirm: the price, how a payment card is collected, and the renewal and cancellation terms, once subscribing is available. Until then, no card is requested and you are not charged.]

5. Your data

You own what you put into the service: your firm profile, settings, notes, partners, outreach and drafts. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

Each workspace is kept separate from every other workspace. If you connect an AI model, your key is stored encrypted, and the text you ask it to work on is sent to that provider under your own account with them.

You can ask us to delete your workspace and its data. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to access another workspace or account, to probe or overload the service, to resell it without our agreement, or to send unsolicited bulk messages.

If you connect other tools (for example an outreach tool), you are responsible for following their terms and the rules that apply to your messages.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features, and we will give notice of a change that materially reduces what you are paying for.

8. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts or indirect losses.

[To confirm: the liability cap, the exclusions, and any carve-outs, with counsel.]

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must by law, and we will tell you why where we can.

10. Governing law

[To confirm: governing law and where disputes are handled, with counsel.]

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will give notice of a material change, and the version you accepted is recorded. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new version.
